Irish Wind Farms Break 1000mw Barrier

Some great news here in todays Irish Times – on Saturday October 24th the amount of energy generated by wind farms in Ireland passed a gigawatt for the first time. The amount of power being provided by renewables peaked at 33% of Ireland’s total power demand.
